Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust is thrilled to announce the launch of an exciting new initiative: Media Correspondents in every school across our Trust family. Developed by our Marketing, Media and Communications (MMC) team, the idea is simple but powerful - to give pupils the opportunity to become storytellers for their school. Each Media Correspondent will play a key role in capturing the everyday moments, achievements and hidden gems that make their school community unique.

‘Exceptional’ and ‘Strong’: Ofsted praise St. Bede’s Catholic Academy in Stockton
St. Bede’s Catholic Academy is celebrating a remarkable Ofsted outcome after being awarded “exceptional” and “strong” under Ofsted’s rigorous new inspection framework – a distinction achieved by only a small number of schools nationwide. The school received an ‘exceptional’ rating for behaviour and attendance, alongside ‘strong practice’ in inclusion, personal development and wellbeing, curriculum, teaching, leadership and governance. Early Years provision was judged to be at the expected standard, ensuring children begin their learning journey with secure foundations.
North East Choir of the Year 2026 – A Celebration of Music, Community, and Young Voices
