Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust was delighted to bring together students from across our five secondary schools on Wednesday 10th December, for the second annual BHCET Swimming Gala. Held at Mill House Leisure Centre in Hartlepool, the event once again showcased the incredible talent, determination, and camaraderie of our young swimmers.
The competition provided a fantastic platform for students to demonstrate their skills in the pool, with races filled with energy, excitement, and plenty of cheering. The atmosphere was one of friendly rivalry and mutual encouragement, reflecting the true spirit of sport within our Trust.
This year’s gala built on the success of last year’s inaugural event, continuing our commitment to promoting health, wellbeing, and teamwork through sport. Our winners from the event were St. Michael's Catholic Academy, however, every participant should be proud of their effort and enthusiasm throughout the day!
A huge thank you goes to the staff, EMS sports leaders, and supporters who made this event possible. Your hard work behind the scenes ensures our students have these memorable opportunities to shine.
